NEW CHAPLAIN MINISTERING AT NORTH TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER

J. Ray Smith began to minister as the new chaplain at North Texas Medical Center February 27. After his selection by the Gainesville Ministerial Alliance, the hospital board approved him at their last monthly meeting on February 26. (click here for full story)

Ninety to Nothing…..

Recognized with the GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Award at North Texas Medical Center in 2007 was the staff instrumental in the successful implementation of a quality initiative to reduce wait time and increase efficiency in the Emergency Department. The Ninety to Nothing Program has since resulted in a significant increase in patient satisfaction scores for the department, which serves an average of 1400 patients each month.

NTMC Nurse Honored for Service to Local Organization

ABBA Women’s Center Vice-Chairman John Roane presents the 2008 Annual Angela Haverkamp Volunteer Award to Center nursing supervisor Stacie Miller, RN , who logged more volunteer hours the past two years than any other volunteer. Stacie is committed to excellence as she manages the Ultrasound Program and supervises the restocking crew every Tuesday at Second Chance Resale Store which benefits ABBA Women’s Center so that free services are available to all clients.
