The NTMC Medical Care Center is conveniently located at 426 North Grand Avenue in Gainesville.
The clinic offers occupational medicine including pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals and drug screens, and includes its own on-site lab. It also provides walk-in family care.
The clinic accepts most private insurance, as well as Medicare.
Ifeoma Igbokwe, MSN, FNP-C
Ifeoma Igbokwe, MSN, FNP-C, is a Nurse Practitioner with 12 years clinical nursing experience.
Ifeoma (Ify) completed her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from New Jersey State University in Jersey City, NJ., followed by a Master of Science in Nursing degree( specializing in Family Practice) from Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, NC. Upon completing her training, she become a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has also been licensed in Texas as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Scope of practice encompasses health care promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.
According to Ify, her goals are to use a unique combination of strong nursing skills; strive to provide the best health care possible; build strong long-lasting and trusting relationships with clients; acquire a more thorough evaluation of every client through listening and understanding that client's specific needs; and providing a positive healing experience and confidence to those in need.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday—closed noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.
